ERP
ERP is what you need when the separate systems stop being separate — when a sale should move stock, raise an invoice, and land in this month’s figures without anyone re-typing it three times.
Sound familiar?
What this fixes
“Month-end takes a week because nothing reconciles automatically.”
“The same figure gets typed into four places and one of them is wrong.”
“I do not know if we made money this month until long after I could have done anything about it.”
What you get
Included
Stock and purchasing
Purchase orders, goods received, supplier records and costs that flow through to margin without a spreadsheet in the middle.
Invoicing and receivables
Quotes to invoices to payments, with statements and an ageing report that tells you who actually owes you money.
Payroll
Salaries, deductions, PAYE and pension, payslips staff can be given. Built to the local rules, not adapted from somewhere else’s.
Reporting that gets used
The three or four numbers you actually run the business on, on one screen, current. Plus exports for your accountant.

Amounts are held as whole tambala and divided only for display — storing money as a decimal is how invoice totals end up a kwacha out. Not shown here: saved records, customers, sequential numbering, credit notes, payment allocation, an audit trail and PDF output. That is most of the real work.
